Karl Steeves

Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Steeves holds a degree in Engineering from Imperial College London. He began his career developing safety-critical software for electric vehicles before becoming a commercial pilot. In 2017, he founded TrustFlight to enhance the efficiency of aircraft operations and maintenance through software. Today, TrustFlight offers digital workflow solutions like the Electronic Tech Log, MEL Manager, and Safety Management System to operators, MROs, and regulators globally. Supported by a team of 150 aviation and software experts, Mr. Steeves has steered TrustFlight from startup to a globally respected aerospace brand with customers including some of the largest fleet operators across North America, Europe, and Asia.

Richard M. Steeves

Chairman

Dr. Steeves served as Chief Executive Officer and director of Synergy Health plc, a provider of specialty outsourced services to the healthcare and related industries, from 1992 until 2015, and founded the Company in 1991. Dr. Steeves served as a director of Gama Aviation plc from January 2018 to February 2019. Dr. Steeves has served since July 2017 as Executive Chairman of Advanced Research Cryptography Ltd. and, since October 2017 as Chairman of TrustFlight Ltd.

Amir Kusedghi

Chief Information Officer

Dr. Kusedghi leads TrustFlight’s technology operations, bringing deep expertise in cloud platforms, cybersecurity, and IT architecture. Prior to joining TrustFlight, he co-founded a successful cloud computing company whose products now support over half a million users. He holds a PhD in Computer Engineering and was awarded the Mitacs Postdoctoral Fellowship at the University of British Columbia for advanced work in telecommunications. He regularly consults for global aerospace organizations on digital strategy.

Mike Sanchez

Director of Finance

Mr. Sanchez is an ICAEW Chartered Accountant (FCA) with over 25 years of financial experience. Having trained with Deloitte in Audit and Assurance, Mr. Sanchez has gained extensive expertise across various sectors, including financial institutions, manufacturing, software development, and professional services. With a robust background in Aerospace and Defence manufacturing for OEMs, Mr. Sanchez is adept at managing the financial needs of businesses ranging from owner-managed enterprises to large, publicly listed companies. Mr. Sanchez also possesses a strong interest in aviation and aerospace, bringing both passion and in-depth industry knowledge to their role at TrustFlight.

Reuben S. Mann

Senior Director of Marketing

As part of the executive leadership team, Mr. Mann shapes business strategy and ensures strong alignment with commercial teams to drive global market growth. With experience at a major private equity firm specializing in aerospace and defense, Reuben brings a wealth of industry insight to his role. In 2020, he founded and led a Marketing Center of Excellence (CoE), collaborating with business unit executives to market technology solutions across advanced air mobility, public safety, offshore oil and gas, government, military & defense, and transport sectors. Reuben earned an MBA from the University of Northern British Columbia (UNBC), graduating as valedictorian, and holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Biochemistry from the University of British Columbia (UBC).
