Operational compliance management company Total AOC has been accredited by the Joint Supply Chain Accreditation Register (JOSCAR) for the defence industry.

JOSCAR accreditation means that Centrik, the powerful operational management system developed by Total AOC, is now approved to manage every aspect of a defence contractor’s operations.

Additionally, defence contractors can use Total AOC’s services, such as AOC set-up and management, safe in the knowledge that the company meets all the requirements of high-level defence pre-qualification questionnaires and procurement teams.

David Hunkin, Head of New Markets, Total AOC, says: “Defence contractors need to know that the partners they work with are able to meet the stringent demands of the sector – and with our JOSCAR accreditation, we can now give them that reassurance. By using Centrik, they can now be sure their operational management capabilities meet the high-level requirements of industry.”

Originally developed for the civil aviation sector, Centrik provides comprehensive operational management for a variety of sectors, including national aviation regulators, maritime and now, international defence.

The system provides a powerful yet intuitive management package for every element of defence operations, featuring a series of fully integrated modules that provide a comprehensive real-time situation report for all business departments.

JOSCAR is an accreditation system for the aerospace, defence and security sectors. The system was established following an initiative led by ADS Group and includes a growing number of prime contractors as registered buyers, including the UK’s Ministry of Defence.
