Hosted by the International Air Transport Association with Turkish Airlines as host airline, WSOC is the industry’s principal forum for bringing safety, flight operations, cabin operations, maintenance, and crisis management together under one roof.
About the IATA World Safety and Operations Conference 2026
WSOC 2026 carries the theme “Performance Through People: Driving Safety, Operational Agility, and Crisis Response”. That framing is deliberate. As artificial intelligence takes on more of the analytical load inside safety departments, safety performance still rests on human judgement, competence, and the systems built to support both.
The conference draws more than 800 professionals from airlines, regulators, airports, manufacturers, training providers, and accident investigation bodies. The programme runs to over 45 hours of content across four parallel tracks covering Safety, Cabin, Operations, and Crisis Management, preceded by a full day of workshops and forums on Monday 5 October.
