LONDON and PROVIDENCIALES, TURKS AND CAICOS ISLANDS, 01 April 2026 – TrustFlight, the world’s first and only end-to-end aerospace safety intelligence platform, announced that the Turks and Caicos Islands Airports Authority (TCIAA) has selected its Centrik 5 safety and compliance platform for deployment across all six airports it manages in the Turks and Caicos Islands, a British Overseas Territory in the Caribbean.
Established in 2006, TCIAA oversees airport operations across the territory, including Howard Hamilton International Airport in Providenciales, the islands’ primary international gateway. The authority is subject to aviation safety and security oversight from Air Safety Support International (ASSI), a wholly owned subsidiary of the UK Civil Aviation Authority responsible for regulation across UK Overseas Territories, as well as from the UK CAA directly.
Centrik 5 will support the development and strengthening of TCIAA’s safety, security, and compliance framework, with a particular focus on its Quality Management System (QMS) programme. The platform will provide integrated capabilities for safety reporting, document management, compliance tracking, and risk assessment across all six airport sites, replacing the authority’s existing safety management system.
A key factor in the selection was regulatory alignment. ASSI already uses Centrik as part of its own regulatory and oversight activities, including security audits conducted on Turks and Caicos Islands airports. By adopting the same platform, TCIAA will improve visibility across safety and compliance activities and streamline its engagement with both ASSI and the UK CAA. Following a competitive evaluation, Centrik 5 received unified support from TCIAA’s Safety and Quality Assurance teams, alongside CEO and finance approval.
“Managing safety and compliance across six airports requires a platform that gives us clear, connected visibility of our entire operation. Centrik 5 brings our safety reporting, document control, and risk management together in one system. The fact that ASSI already uses Centrik for its regulatory oversight of our airports was a significant factor in our decision. It means we’re working within the same ecosystem as our regulator, which strengthens our QMS programme and simplifies how we demonstrate compliance,” said Kendre Wilson, Quality Assurance and Compliance Manager, TCIAA.
“This partnership is a powerful example of the value a connected safety ecosystem can deliver, from regulator to operator, on the same platform. When an airport authority and its oversight body are working within the same system, the entire safety and compliance chain becomes more transparent and more efficient. We’re proud to support TCIAA as they strengthen their safety and quality framework across the Turks and Caicos Islands,” said Karl Steeves, CEO, TrustFlight.
